I think deep down he wants a connection, but doesn’t really ‘get’ it. Most of the positive traits he shows as a parent is him just mimicking his wife or Henry. By himself, he really doesnt know how to have a father/child relationship.

I think the reason why he and Jenny connect so well is that theyre both sociopaths. Although had Jenny lived as long as her brothers, she wouldve been a really successful person
