Kinda fucked up with Will knowing that he killed Charlie and to have Henry for a while lean to him for comfort and support. Like, it’s alright friend, I’m here for you, you can rely on me. If Will just kept killing and hiding it, it had to be some time before anyone caught on. So he gets to kill, act upset, then gets comfort. Oh, this is terrible! Our restaurant being targeted like this! Henry, don’t worry, we’ll get this through this together. How about a hug?

to put a very long story short, ¾ths of this family was majorly messed up/traumatized by B. (Will’s wife). After B dies, Will attempts to feel normal and just wants to raise his kids. Ben and Jenny try to cope with the trauma in different (often violent) ways and causes Chris to grow up with a chaotic household. 

All in all though, they would, in fact, die for each other.
