Of all of the people that could have been in the Ambassador Rescue… Imagine Mettaton. Imagine Mettaton bursting in and TELEVISING each of those people, for the world to see. Showing the world how these people would treat a child, and the subsequent smackdown that comes with what they’ve done. The ratings have never been higher. (Alphys helps Frisk and Chara while Mettaton takes care of the goons and gets some food in them while the three of them watch the show.)

“HELLOOOOO AND GOOD EVENING EVERYONE!”

It has been, for what I have counted, at least 3 days since our capture. It has also been a while since we’ve seen Mettaton, who somehow brought in spotlights and expensive tv cameras into a rescue mission. How wonderful. Oh, goodie, he also brought an applause sound clip. Frisk, why are we friends with him again?

“In today’s segment, we’ll have our special guests try to dodge this!”

Mettaton whirs up the chainsaw. “Don’t go to pieces on me now! We are live, after all”
