Just a random question ! What was it like getting into doing commissions, like starting to do them? I suppose you would’ve had to build up like a fanbase or something at first to get out there and be noticed- like I don’t think it’s something you just like jump into, so what is your experience with doing them?

I opened commissions a few years ago, though i didn’t get much at the time. I had changed my commissions page and prices every year and showcased stuff that was popular at the time. It’s mostly about honing your craft and sharing it to people, as well as making your art marketable. It takes a long time to get attention, so don’t be discouraged if things don’t go off right away!

Is the spring lock comic canon? Or would you do anything different with it if it wasn’t a commission? (Sorry if this seems rude to you or the commissioner? I’m honestly not sure)

Some very minor details are changed or left out, but overall the comic is canon. Hope that clears some stuff up!

i really love how you give everyone colors and idk if this has been asked before but why is chris green when everyone else in his family is various shades of red to blue?

Chris is an outlier and should not have been counted

when you did soulless-pacifist you used to occasionally do livestreams. Are you ever gonna do that again?

I had a lot of fun with those, however with my current setup, it would be nearly impossible to do livestreams successfully. I think once I get some proper equipment and a new computer I would do livestreams again.

What kind of English accent do the Aftons have?

I’d imagine Carter would have a more Cockney accent, and William would suppress his own accent and force himself to speak more Southern. As for the kids I’d say they’d pick up on Will’s accent, though theirs is a bit more mellowed out since they grew up around kids without any english accents.
