They’re animatronics that Jennifer designed herself. The idea is that they punish kids who’ve been bad.
Though, years after Jennifer died, and after Benjamin and Christopher moved to life with their grandfather, William decided to bring them to life.

I told daddy that he should consider making animatronics for bad kids, but he said “Jennifer these designs are several lawsuits waiting to happen” so…I guess that means he’s not making them. Oh well, here’s to trying.
